Emmerdale fans work out Leylas stalker after Caleb betrayal
Emmerdale: Stalker lurks outside Layla’s window
Emmerdale’s Leyla Harding (played by Roxy Shahidi) relationship with Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) started to heat up during Wednesday’s episode after the couple came clean about how they felt towards one another. However, towards the end of the ITV soap, unbeknown to them, the duo were being watched by a mystery person who was seen peering in through the window. But, who could it be?
As Leyla asked Caleb what he was thinking about she stated: “That’s the thing though, isn’t it? I don’t really know anything about you.”
“I like to think of myself as an open book,” the businessman replied.
“The question is is anyone else reading that book?” Leyla asked.
Caleb continued: “Seriously, these past few months, like the whole thing with Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and everything… finding a new family.
“It’s all been a bit crazy, I have no more time for anyone else.”
As they addressed Caleb staying in the village, Leyla said: “I am glad you’ve not run a mile.”
“I can think of one or two reasons why I might stick around,” he said.
“I’m not going to lie they do a mean meat and potatoe at the cafe.”
“Any other reason?” Leyla asked as Caleb quipped back: “Yeah, you.”
As the pair kissed passionately, the camera panned to a mystery hooded figure who was stood outside the window.
Fans took to social media in droves to share their thoughts on who the person was, with some thinking it could be drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley).
Others theorised that Caleb could be working with Callum and is getting close to Leyla only to betray her.
