Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron heading for breakdown after Robert bans him from visiting him in prison – The Sun
AARON Dingle will get even closer to the edge in Emmerdale next week when he gets some devastating news from husband Robert Sugden in prison.
Aaron’s sister Liv and sis-in-law Victoria are really worried about him and think he might be on the verge of a breakdown because of how badly he’s coping with Robert’s incarceration.
Things go from bad to worse when later, Chas arrives at the Mill, and tells Victoria and Aaron that she’s had a message from Robert, leaving Aaron hopeful that all might not be lost.
But when Victoria is later told that Robert has put a moratorium on receiving any visitors in prison, she’s devastated as it means neither she nor Aaron will ever see him again.
The reality of losing her brother finally hits her hard, but how will an already fragile Aaron react when he hears the news?
Fans were left stunned last week when Robert – who’s played by Ryan Hawley in the ITV soap – was sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to murdering Lee Posner.
His plea came after Aaron (Danny Miller) made a shocking plan to break Robert free in the same way he did Adam Barton.
After Robert handed himself into the police, he later called Aaron and told him that he’s been charged with murder, leaving his husband devastated.
Aaron then picked up the phone, and said to a mysterious person: "You know that favour you owe me. I need to break someone out of prison. You up for it?"
It turned out to be Billy Fletcher on the other end of the phone and Aaron plotted to hijack the prison van as Robert was moved. But Billy told Paddy and Liv what Aaron was planning and they barricaded him in Mill Cottage.
Actor Ryan revealed he was quitting the soap earlier this year after seven years playing Robert. His character has been sent down for a minimum term of 14 years.
