Emmerdale to air double death horror as Mack and Mandy’s dodgy deal goes wrong
Next week’s Emmerdale could see more death on the cards as Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) overhears a conversation between dodgy dealer Kev and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
Still reeling from villain Paul’s (Reece Dinsdale) death, Mandy is beginning to sort through her ex’s possessions.
Meanwhile, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) is feeling guilty for moving back in with Liv (Isobel Steele) after everything that’s happened.
But things are difficult financially for the Dingles, as Lydia (Karen Blick) and Sam (James Hooton) head off to the bank to try and prove Lydia’s credit card debts were actually incurred fraudulently by Paul – but the meeting doesn’t go well.
They found out Paul had run up credit card debts on Lydia's account last week, and Lydia was devastated thinking she may not be able to pay the money back.
So it’s down to Mandy to take action, going cap-in-hand to a freshly flush Charity (Emma Atkins) to seek a bailout to cover Paul’s funeral costs.
But it’s not in Charity’s nature to play nice, so she instead offers to buy the salon from still shocked Mandy.
She heads to the Woolpack with Lydia and Sam to brainstorm ways of paying off the credit card debt, while Vinny finds a notebook among Paul’s things, revealing to Liv that it’s a comprehensive account of Paul’s wins and losses.
The book also contains future tips – which could lead a grieving Vinny down a slippery slope.
Liv thinks she’s managed to persuade Vinny to turn the page on baddie Paul, but as soon as she leaves Vinny logs straight on to a gambling website and places a secret bet.
Meanwhile, mum Mandy overhears a conversation between Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Mackenzie about a covert meeting they’re planning over at Butlers – but the pair clock her listening in.

Later, Mandy walks in on a rapt Vinny watching the end of the race, and worries that he’ll become like his dad when the horse he picked is a winner.
And so a plan forms for her to take the financial responsibility off her son’s shoulders, so she pays Mack a visit at Butlers.
Certain the pair are up to something, Mandy threatens to blow the whistle on his secret plans unless he cuts her in.
Mack is left rattled as he realises a freshly determined Mandy won’t take no for an answer, and grudgingly allows her to meet up with dodgy dealer Kev.
But Mandy’s actions leave the pair in grave danger – could there be another double death twist in the Dales?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
