Game of Thrones season 8, episode 4 leak: Has Game of Thrones been leaked?

Game of Thrones season eight, episode four will air tonight (Sunday, May 5) at 9pm on HBO. The episode will broadcast in the UK at the same time, meaning that due to the time difference fans can catch Game of Thrones episode four from 2am tomorrow morning (Monday, May 6) on Sky Atlantic. HBO and Sky have kept plot details of the final season under wraps and do not even release the episode titles ahead of each instalment but sadly, the series has fallen victim to leaks in the past.

Has Game of Thrones season 8, episode 4 been leaked?

The entire fourth episode of Game of Thrones season eight has not been leaked.

However, a 30-second long video leak did surface on Twitter and YouTube earlier today (Sunday, May 5).

At the moment it is not clear whether the clip relates to tonight’s episode or it is from the other remaining two episodes in the finals series.

The video was a short clip of a scene which depicts the death of a major character.

Unfortunately, if Game of Thrones fans were to go on Twitter or search for news about their favourite show, they are likely to know that possibly tonight a beloved character will die.

The scene is rumoured to shock viewers and will be a major turning point in the Game of Thrones season eight plot.

No other scene has been leaked so far or the episode title which remains unknown.

WHAT IS GOT 71 CALLED?

Tonight’s episode will following the ongoing battle for the Iron Throne after the Night King and the white walkers were defeated.

Some clues about tonight’s episode have already been given away by the 40-second official teaser trailer.

The trailer teases that in episode four, Cersei (played by Lena Headey) and Daenerys (Emila Clarke) could come head to head as Targaryen ships and dragons are seen approaching Kings Landing.

In the trailer, Daenerys is heard telling her supporters: “We have won the great war, now we will win the last war.”

At the end of the trailer, Cersei warns: “We’ll rip her out root and stem.”

Actress Lena Headey who plays Cersei also teased what may happen in episode four.

She posted a picture of her and right-hand man Euron Grejoy (Pilou Ashbaek) which read: “Photo by joybag@helenstills … Cersei thinking about pizza and not sharing it with @pilouasbaek .. Ep 4 toneet… after the epic and heart attack inducing Ep 3 … what will happen .. Will Cersei and Euron get their Scooby snacks …”

HOW TO WATCH GOT SEASON 8, EPISODE 4 ONLINE

Today is not the first time Game of Thrones season eight has been the victim of leaks, despite HBO and Sky Atlantic doing everything they can to protect the show from them.

Last week, photographs from episode three were leaked, depicting scenes from the battle of Winterfell.

Although they did not give any major plot details away, some minor spoilers will be revealed to fans about what they could expect.

The second episode was released early on Amazon Prime Video in Germany and the same footage appeared on the website Openload.

Although the episode and footage were removed almost immediately, the footage continued to circulate the internet.

The first episode was also released early on DirecT Now, four hours before it was supposed to premiere.

HOW LONG IS GOT 71?

There are only a few more hours to go until Game of Thrones episode four lands on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK, so fingers crossed no more leaks occur.

He said: “I am so sorry to say yes. It’s a big yes. We have seen it in the past, we’ve seen it in the present and we will see it in the future.”
