Gogglebox stars Mica and Marcus announce they have quit Channel 4 show

Gogglebox stars Marcus and Mica Luther have sensationally quit the show.
The couple are walking away after five years on the hit Channel 4 show.
In a statement, they said: “We’ve had so much fun with you all tuning in at home and the hardworking Gogglebox crew’s but it’s time to put down the remote and see what else God has in store for us.

“To everyone that has tuned in & sent us messages of love and encouragement over the years, we appreciate every last one of you. Thank you so much.”
Many of their co-stars have already reacted to the shock news.
Izzi Warner said: “We’ll miss you both.”
Twaine Plummer said: “All the best in the future.”
Scores of fans are devastated over their decision.
One said: “Gogglebox won’t be the same without you.”
Another said: “I’m gutted. All the best though.”
Gogglebox has made Marcus and Mica a hit with fans around the country.
They both have more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.
Marcus and Mica have quit just months after The Baggs family walked away from the show.
In the summer the Essex clan said: “After 3 incredible seasons on Channel 4’s Gogglebox we have taken the decision to leave the show.
“We have loved every second of being part of the Gogglebox family and it’s truly been the opportunity of a lifetime.”

Gogglebox producers are now likely to need to find new stars in time for the next series. But many of its regulars plan to stay.
Popular couple Giles Wood and Mary Killen have had offers to do other shows, but they have turned them down.
Mary said: “We have been offered other shows. But we’re quite happy with Gogglebox.”
