Viewers will see unlucky-in-love Scott with a spring in his step after meeting the hunky Spanish choreographer and dancer.
Speaking about joining the show, Ariel said: "I’m having a fantastic time filming with Hollyoaks.
"I am so happy to be playing the role of Juan, who has such a lovely and sweet storyline with Scott.
"Working with Ross Adams is a true pleasure, and I’ve even had the chance to share some time on set with Alex Fletcher – everyone is so welcoming.
"Truly, a very kind and fun environment to work in."
Earlier this week, Hollyoaks launched its Spring season by releasing a brand-new trailer, teasing romance in upcoming storylines.
Love is in the air for Felix aWestwood (Richard Blackwood) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) who are in the full flush of a new relationship.
Also, Beau Ramsey (Jon-Paul Bell) and Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) appear to be getting closer and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and James Nightingale's (Gregory Finnegan) wedding planning steps up.
Fans will remember that Scott was married to Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) but their relationship soon hit the rocks as Mitchell ended up in debt, and the pair had a disagreement when Scott talked about adoption.
After Mitchell disappeared for a few days, Scott found him, only for Mitchell to break up with him and leave the village.
Scott was eventually placed as an emergency foster parent to Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) but she recently returned to her mum.
However, the Spring trailer confirmed that Vicky will be making a return to the village in the near future.
Will she stay with Scott or is she just back for a flying visit?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
