I'm A Celeb's Nigel Farage gets covered in gunge in gruelling challenge after fears he'd be exempt from some trials | The Sun
NIGEL Farage is seen covered in gunge as he takes on his first I'm A Celebrity Bushtucker Trial – after fears he'd be exempt from some.
The politician, 59, is among the new bunch of campmates who will move into the I'm A Celeb jungle when the new series kicks off tonight.
In a first look at Nigel in action, the former Ukip leader teams up with TikTok star Nella Rose and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson.
The trio are tasked with searching through barrels of disgusting-looking gunge and it's not long before they're forced to immerse themselves in it.
It looks like Nigel is definitely put through his paces during the trial, no doubt to the delight of the thousands of people who have already complained to Ofcom about him being on the show.
Speaking to The Sun ahead of his stint in the jungle, Nigel revealed which tasks he will be exempt from on medical grounds.

Nigel said: "Well, anything involving weightlifting, I'd be out because I've obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else.
"So they are fully aware that I'm a little bit damaged when it comes to bodily structure.
"But having said that, I can still do most things."

In 2010, Nigel was famously involved in a plane crash while campaigning for the General Election.
Incredibly, despite the small aircraft flipping upside down and nosediving, he managed to stumble away.
Nigel did, however, need to have major surgery several years later on back and neck injuries he sustained in the accident.
In his 20s, Nigel also beat cancer and he cheated death again during this period in his life after being run over by a car.
