I’m a Loose Women star and drunk a bottle of wine a night – I’d beg strangers to buy me booze | The Sun
LOOSE Women panelist Linda Robson has bravely opened up on her booze demons as she hit rock bottom.
The ITV star, 64, has been sober for three years after she realised she was "on the way to being an alcoholic."
The former Birds Of A Feather star admitted she downed a bottle of wine a night – and when she couldn't find the cash for it – she asked random people on the street.
Linda candidly told Women's Own magazine: "I'd find money and say 'excuse me I've lost my key and I can't get out.
"'Would you be able to go and get me a little bottle of vodka from around the corner?'
"A couple of people did but one day I asked a man to do it and he turned out to be from an alcohol crisis place that my family had called to come and help me."
