Inside Louise Thompson's baby nursery as Made in Chelsea star prepares to give birth to first child

LOUISE Thompson has shared a first look at her completed baby nursery as she patiently waits for the arrival of her first child.

The Made In Chelsea star and personal trainer beau Ryan Libbey are days away from welcoming their baby boy, and wants to make sure that everything is perfect.

The cream coloured room comes complete with a white baby changing station and matching cot and a thick and cosy lounging chair with foot rest – perfect for when little one needs a feed.

For a pop of colour, there’s an orange teepee for their boy to play in, as well as a floor mat.

“A first look at the nursery…,” she wrote. “We still have some finishing touches/pops of colour/books/rugs/curtains and art to add but we have all of the essentials.

“I think we need to reposition the cot too although I know the lil dude won’t be sleeping in here for a while.”

Ryan shared a similar video, showing the before and after of the room itself. Previously, it was a clothes and storage room, filled to the brim with clothes and boxes.

“Credit to [Louise] she knows what she’s doing,” he added. “The panelling, the paint colour, the wallpaper, furniture choice, gold trim detail and all the things you can’t see in this video.

“She calls the shots, and I get to sift through all that s**t and build it. Awesome.

“I am very proud of this room. It’s not quite finished yet, but it’s the most complete room we have so far, so we’re celebrating the s**t out of it. Hope you’ll enjoy it lil man…”

The room comes after the pair’s home was engulfed in a terrifying house fire.

"Thankfully myself, Ryan, my mum, and the dogs are all ok,” Louise wrote at the time. “It was an absolutely devastating experience, but we managed to get out with minimal damage to our health (including the dogs who we lost in the blinding smoke at one point.)”

Louise went on to praise emergency services for being at the house "in two minutes", adding that she is still in shock but "grateful for our luck"

Thankfully they were able to salvage their home, and now they are patiently awaiting for the birth of their little man.

In a video posted on Tuesday, Louise shared her excitement at fully moving in to the family home – marking the video "as probably the last video she makes before their fifth family member arrives".
