Emmerdale: Jacob finds out about Eric’s illness
During the latest episode of the ITV soap, Emmerdale’s Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) had to make a decision about her future with Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren Plant).
Her ex, and Jacob’s dad, David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfended) confronted her on Wednesday’s episode after learning about their secret romance.
He told her: “You were just biding your time until he got a little bit older so you didn’t end up in prison with Maya.”
“You’re disgusting,” replied an angry Victoria, to which David clapped back: “No, that’s you.”
He added: “Who you are and what you’ve done with my son… He’s got his whole life ahead of him.

“He’s at university that’s rammed with girls his own age, girls that are going places. Not some low-rent burger flipper with a kid in tow. You’re rubbish at your job and you almost killed him.”
Following their heated exchange, Victoria told Jacob it was “over” at the end of the episode which left him heartbroken.
He begged her to reconsider, but it appeared as though Victoria had made up her mind.
However, some fans predict Jacob and Victoria will rekindle their romance later down the line in the serial drama.

Taking to Twitter, one fan cryptically penned: “Victoria has dumped Jacob! But will it really stay that way? #Emmerdale.”
Meanwhile, Jehan said: “David’s not just angry and upset, he’s bloody jealous.
“I’m kinda hoping that Vic and Jacob won’t be split up for long and will make it work despite David and Leyla.”
A third user said: “Victoria and Jacob are grown adults they can do what they want #Emmerdale.”
Bobby shared: “#Emmerdale so if Victoria ends with Jacob Will David try to get back with Victoria even after saying what he did?”
Another fan added: “Reminder: Jacob isn’t David’s biological son he’s his stepson #Emmerdale.”
Does David have the right to be angry at Jacob considering he’s his stepson, not his biological child?
