Kerry Katona says her pal Katie Price's mucky mansion was so disgusting it gave her anxiety

KERRY Katona said Katie Price's mucky mansion was so disgusting it gave her anxiety.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 39, said in contrast to her pal's home, her own felt like "a bloody palace".

Katie, 41, recently revealed just how mucky the mansion was before clearing it out in a dramatic makeover.

In fact, it was so bad that son Junior, 14, allegedly refused to come stay because he was embarrassed – preferring instead to live in his dad Peter Andre's spotless house.

Kerry appeared to agree, writing in her new! magazine column: "Seeing Katie Price's mucky mansion made me realise I live in a bloody palace!

"You know I love Kate, but looking at all that stuff all over the floor in different rooms gave me anxiety!

"Kate's like me – she's given a lot of free things and it is tricky to know what to do with it all.

"I don't envy her having to sort through that lot!"

The reality star cleared up the mansion last week, hoping to transform it into a wedding venue.

While Kerry and Katie are friends now, their relationship hasn't always been rock solid.

The stars met on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 and Kerry was even a bridesmaid at Katie's wedding to Peter Andre.

They fell out in 2007, but reconciled last year.

Rumours swirled that their friendship was on the rocks again after Kerry wrote about Katie's face after her most recent batch of cosmetic surgery.

She wrote in her new! column about Katie's "awful" wounds and "weird" ears.

However, they defied those rumours a couple of days later by reuniting for a Friday night catch-up.

The pair were joined by 12-year-old's Princess, Katie's daughter, and Heidi, who is Kerry's.

In an Instagram video, the former glamour model jokes: "I'm sick to death of you stabbing me in the back. How much surger have you had?"

Kerry answers back: "Well only because I want to look like you, I just copy you."

Katie replies: "I can get you a discount!"
