Laura Whitmore sends Love Island fans wild with new Sophie and Connor update

Love Island love-birds Sophie Piper and Connor Durman are currently getting geared up to reunite on tonight's Aftersun with Laura Whitmore.
After last night's shock elimination which saw the islanders save Rebecca and Mike, Sophie and Wallace were sent packing.
Speaking about her exit and the end of the episode, the brunette stunner admitted that she's looking forward to see her former flame Connor who was voted out over a week ago, yet Sophie chose not to follow him.

It looks like she's expected to see her former beau sooner than she thinks as host Laura Whitmore revealed that the pair will be seeing each other for the first time again tonight, on Aftersun.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news ahead of tonight's Casa Amore debut, the Irish stunner, 34, posted a snap of herself looking ecstatic about the drama that's about to unfold for the islanders; both former and current.
Alongside the snap of herself laughing to her hearts content in front of a huge 'love' sign in the Casa Amore villa, Laura revealed that Sophie and Connor will be together once again as she tagged them both in the post ahead of their appearance on the much-loved chat show.
Naturally, Laura's comments section was awash with well-wishes from devoted Love Island fans.
"This is going to be so romantic! I cannot wait to see them together again!" wrote one ecstatic fan.

"I already know I'm gonna be crying over this. Love them so much!" another gushed.
While a third wrote: "I actually cannot cope with this. Oh my god, they belong together!".
Following her shock elimination, 21-year-old Sophie wasn't shy about admitting that she would be keen to continue getting to know the coffee bean salesman, but it would have to start from the very beginning.
Sophie also admitted that she's worried about whether she will even hear from the Sussex-born hunk because they haven’t actually exchanged numbers.
"It would be nice to think we can pick up where we left off. It’d be starting from the beginning and going on dates," she said in her post-villa interview.
The former medical PA suggested she’d love to have a dinner date with Connor, something that the couple didn’t get to do in the villa.

"I can’t wait to see Connor when I get back, it would be nice to go on a few dates and see what happens.
"I am very nervous to speak to him. I keep thinking, ‘Will he even answer a DM?’ because I don’t have his number! I am so excited to speak to him and see him."
It seems as though she has nothing to worry about though, as Connor rushed to Instagram last night to share that he was 'so proud' of Soph and insisted that he couldn't wait to see her.
The pair coupled up straight away and, despite a few ups and downs, they appeared to genuinely like each other.
Despite choosing not to follow him out of the villa, it looks as though Connor is still besotted by the brunette beauty, and who knows where things will go for the pair.
Maybe they'll be the next Tommy and Molly-Mae!
