Love Island exes spark reunion rumours with undeniable chemistry as they meet up

Love Island star Scott van-der-Sluis and Catherine Agbaje have sparked rumours of a reunion, after reportedly going for a 'catch-up.'

Former footballer Scott, 22, fell for Catherine, 23, on this year’s Love Island, but their romance was shattered after Catherine decided to recouple with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson in Casa Amor.

But after the pair delighted their fans with an Instagram live together from Catherine's account, ITV viewers are convinced that their chemistry is still 'undeniable.'

Fans were quick to flood social media with comments as they pined for the pair to rekindle their relationship.

"The way Scott and Catherine look at each other, sorry, they got me forever; they can scam me again," said one person.

Another social media user commented: "Not gonna lie, Scott and Catherine are so cute."

A third said: "Scott and Catherine are my Roman Empire. Their chemistry is undeniable." While a fourth agreed, adding: "I just watched Scott and Catherine on live, and I am sold again."

Catherine also posted a picture of Scott to her Instagram story with the caption 'catch-up' as the pair appeared to be hanging out at a bar together.

Another video of them together on the same night appears to show them playfighting as Catherine rolls her head back, laughing.

Speaking to OK! in August, Scott revealed that he wouldn't rule out getting back with Catherine.

When we asked if there was a chance of reconciliation, Scott tellingly said: "Never say never."

He added: "Obviously, we care for each other, and we're really good friends…" before he quickly changed the subject.

Scott was left holding back tears when Catherine shocked fellow Islanders by bringing back Elom back to the main villa, leaving him single.

Catherine and Elom then split shortly after being dumped from the villa as they vowed to remain friends.

Scott then surprised fans when less than a month after leaving the villa, he joined the cast of Love Island USA, where he only lasted five days before being dumped.

Despite the short stint, the professional athlete is ready to do it all again and has signed up for Love Island Games, which brings together former Islanders from the UK, US, and Australian series.

He will join a star-studded Love Island legends including exes Eyal Booker and Megan Barton Hanson, who dated on 2018's fourth season.

The UK’s host, Maya Jama, will also be presenting the new Love Island spin-off dating show, which will debut on Peacock on November 1.

The new show will see the islanders go head to head in brand new challenges as they form romantic connections in stunning Fiji.
