Love Island star Maura Higgins forced to rename her new reality TV show because of legal row – The Sun
LOVE Island star Maura Higgins explores alternative career options — as it is revealed she has been forced to rename her new reality show because of a legal row.
Maura, 29, posing in Ann Summers lingerie, is training for Dancing on Ice, which starts on Sunday.
She is also due to take on challenges for an ITV2 show she wanted to call Maura the Explorer.
But the makers of animated kids’ show Dora The Explorer kicked off.
A TV source said: “It was a blow for bosses, who want to keep her on TV at any cost.”
At the turn of the new year, Maura wasted no time getting reacquainted with boyfriend, Curtis Pritchard.
After spending Christmas apart, the couple shared a naked bath snap with fans.
Maura enjoyed a glass of red wine in the tub with her man, 23, as she photographed him in the buff with a big smile on his face.
Her legs covered his manhood as they relaxed with some bubble bath. After their soak they slipped on some pyjamas and Curtis opened the advent calendar he'd left at Maura's only to find she'd eaten most of his chocs.
The couple – who have been together since appearing on the ITV2 show this summer – have struggled to see each other due to conflicting schedules and the festive period was no different.
Maura went home to be with her family in Ireland, while Curtis had to stay behind for panto.
