Love Island’s Amy Hart ‘burst into tears’ after landing Loose Women job

Amy Hart recently rose to fame on Love Island as the nation witnessed her heartbreak when her “half boyfriend” Curtis broke things off in favour of another contestant, Maura Higgins.

Amy ended up quitting the show in a shock dramatic exit as she said she wanted Curtis to be able to move on with Maura.

With all the other islanders gathered round the fire pit, Amy made an emotional speech, admitting she had fallen in love with Curtis, but that she wanted him to be happy.

But now things are looking up for Amy, as she appeared on ITV’s Loose Women today as a guest panellist, along with regulars Colleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Saira Khan.

Amy admitted she “burst into tears” when she was offered the spot on the panel, because she had always been a massive fan of the show.

She even confessed she once bunked off school to watch Loose Women, and her favourite panellist is Colleen.

She proclaimed “I love the Nolan!”

With her mum there in the audience to support her, Amy spoke out about social media.

She revealed the Love Island contestants receive social media training to prepare them for trolling and negative comments.

She said she had blocked certain words from her timeline, for her own “self-preservation”.

When she left the villa, Amy saw some tweets branding her “ugly”, but she chose to ignore them.

The blonde beauty lashed out at ex love interest Curtis, branding him “fake” and saying she had seen two completely different sides to him, leaving her questioning which one was real.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12:30pm.
