Married at First Sight UK made its comeback last month and fans are now curious to know when filming took place for the new episodes.

The E4 dating show with a twist has been a major highlight in the television calendar for several years so it wasn’t a surprise there was so much hype around this season.

Once again, 16 singletons entered the experiment in the hope of being matched with their one true love but already, cracks are starting to show with some of the couples.

When was MAFS UK 2023 filmed?

MAFS UK 2023 made its debut on Monday, September 18, on E4 with new episodes airing Monday to Thursday for the foreseeable.

While some shows are shot the previous year to give enough time for editing and promoting, this wasn’t the case for the hit reality series.

Filming for Married at First Sight UK 2023 took place just five months ago so everything that plays out on screen didn’t happen too long ago.

It is unclear when shooting began but, according to expert Mel Schilling, filming was underway in May.

Advertising the upcoming series, E4 shared a short clip on X, formerly known as Twitter, of the 51-year-old discussing the end of its spin-off MAFS Australia.

She then went on to talk about the beginning of Married at First Sight UK to get fans hyped up.

Fans have been left stunned by the news that, in scenes yet to air, Brad has been kicked off the show.

He has presented “controlling” behaviour towards his wife Shona, according to The Sun.

Channel 4 has since confirmed the news, stating how the relationship was “deemed unhealthy”.
