With coronavirus limiting television production, Channel 4’s sister broadcaster E4 will be airing Married At First Sight Australia. Season four of the reality series has started broadcast in Britain with the first episode airing on June 29. Episodes of the fourth series of the dating show with a difference will be screens on the channel.
Series four of Married At First Sight Australia hit the small screen back in 2017.
The programme saw a group of couples getting married with 10 female contestants being matched up by experts to their perfect male partner.
There is a total of 25 episodes which will see the drama playing out over five weeks, including all the highs and lows of the social experiment.
Married At First Sight Australia is similar to the British edition with singletons willing to go down the aisle and tie the knot with a complete stranger.

The show will see a group of experts playing matchmaker, including relationship psychologist John Aiken, neuropsychotherapist Trisha Stratford, and dating expert and psychologist Mel Schilling.
This panel will be matching contestants based on extensive psychological and neurological testing and profiling.
However, Married At First Sight Australia has an additional twist with the couples getting married, going on a honeymoon, living together, meeting their respective in-laws before deciding whether to stay together.
If this format sounds familiar, this is because Married At First Sight was conceived by the same production company behind Netflix’s hit dating show Love Is Blind which went global earlier this year.

Among the couples to appear on Married At First Sight Australia was Cheryl Maitland and Jonathan Troughton.
The pair were one of the first two say “I do” but their relationship wasn’t destined to last.
Sadly, the hair salon assistant from the Gold Coast, Queensland and her Brisbane entrepreneur husband went their separate ways when it came to the crunch.
However, in a twist on the show, Cheryl tried to make a go of things with another contestant Andrew Jones.
Again, it didn’t work out with the firefighter from Perth when they broke up before making their final decision.
While Cheryl didn’t find love, some of the other couples on the show did say yes including Nadia Stamp and Anthony Manton, Simon McQuillan and Alene Khatcherian, Andy Hills and Vanessa Belvedere, and Sharon Marsh and Nick Furphy.
Sadly, none of the Married At First Sight Australia survived after the show and everyone decided to go in different directions.
Since the show wrapped up, Cheryl reportedly went on to find love with Melbourne plumber Dean Gibbs in 2017.
The happy couple have shared snaps together on her Instagram page.
