Inside MAFS’s explosive dinner parties
Former MAFS star Lara Eyre, has shared some secrets about how producers create the show’s iconic, and often dramatic, dinner parties.
On TV it appears that the couples go to the dinner parties when they are ready but Lara reveals that’s not the case.
She said: “Oh my god, it’s all day. We are ready for hair and make-up by 9am and then are filmed getting into the cars and taken to the venue.
“All of the couples are put in our own separate rooms and wait to be told when we can go into the dinner party. They bring in a new couple every hour.
“You’re very on edge and I was nearly always in last, which is weird because you could hear everyone laughing and drinking through the walls.”

Are the MAFS weddings legally binding?
Despite exchanging vows and rings, marriages on Married at First Sight UK are not legally binding.
A spokesperson for the show told Metro.co.uk: “Following the Australian format, rather than legal marriages, the couples will make a lifelong commitment to one another at a glamorous ceremony.
“This is overseen by a wedding celebrant, that includes guests, bridal gowns, dancing, speeches and cake.”
Although the weddings aren’t technically legal, couples can choose to get married for real at the end of the series.

MAFS groom gives new insights into the show
Pjay, who departed from MAFS early, has revealed the most “draining” part of making the show.
The Dreamboys stripper, 31, said: “Married at First Sight UK is probably the best thing I’ve ever done because I’ve learned so much about myself – how I deal with things, how I accept things, how I accept people.
“It’s just mad because it’s ten hours a day of filming. It’s constant.
“Producers will say ‘can you do this again? Can you do it again? Can you do it again?’
“The more you do it, it’s like, ‘oh, I haven’t got the same energy as I did when I first started’.
“And it’s just it’s very, very draining. That’s the best word to use. It’s very draining.”
