MARRIED At First Sight UK star Whitney Hughes has shared a look at Matt’s tattoo tribute to her after just weeks of dating.

The star took to social media to share a snap of the ink as Matt proudly displayed the new tattoo on his body.

Holding back his t-shirt with his hand, Matt revealed ink that reads ‘appreciate you’ in dedication to Whitney.

The reality star captioned her photo: “So… this happened,” before tagging Married At First Sight.

Matt is covered in tattoos and describes himself as an “aspiring tattooist” in his social media bio.

Fans were quick to comment on Matt’s new tribute to Whitney, with many saying they believe the pair to be a great couple.

The tat comes after Whitney admitted she was falling "in love" with Matt.

The self-proclaimed ice queen has finally melted after realising she had no feelings for her original husband, Duka, after swapping him for Matt.

It has been far from plain sailing for the couple on the show, with Thomas Hartley and Whitney recently having a big fall out.

Her co-star Thomas called her a “liar and adulterer” after she left husband Duka to be with new love interest Matt.

But on the outside world it appears the couple are going from strength to strength, and Matt recently provided candid insight into their romance as one fan asked if they are still together or just paired up for airtime in a Q&A.

Matt replied: “I think this is a good question because I want you to put yourself in my shoes for a second

“You can risk being trolled by the nation and have all this drama and headache, or you just go home.

Matt added that he “can’t answer” the first part of the question, asking whether he’s still with Whitney.

The reality star also opened up on whether he suspected Whitney was actually his “OG match” after a fan asked.

He said: “There were definitely conversations we had where we were like ‘Do you reckon? Do you think? Did they know this was going to happen?’”
