MY Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Way Thore revealed if she is ENGAGED to her secret boyfriend.
Fans speculated that the 37-year-old is tying the knot after she showed off her diamond ring.
The TV personality took to Instagram on Saturday to share a photo of herself posing while sitting in the passenger seat of a car.
Whitney captioned the post: “Used truck energy ✨”
Fans quickly noticed that Whitney was wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, which led many to wonder if the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star is engaged.
One person wrote: “Um … what’s on that finger ????”
Another added: “That ring? ?”
However, Whitney set the record straight when one Instagram user wrote: “Why does everyone think just bc she has a ring on that finger means something??”
The TLC star replied: “I bought this salt and pepper diamond for myself!”
WHITNEY'S NEW MAN
Whitney took to Instagram in July to reveal she has a new boyfriend, though she plans to keep his identity a secret for now.
During a previous episode of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, she explained: “I have met a French man who lives in France. We met on a language exchange program platform online.
"He is in his 30s, but he’s younger than me. He’s a graphic designer.
"He’s filled up a lot of my time and become a friend- I feel like a good friend. We’ve been talking for almost probably five months now.
"It’s fun and it’s exciting. We learn French, but mostly we just talk."
The TV personality added that the mystery man may help her get over her ex-fiance Chase Severino, stating: "For the first time since Chase I have started to feel some little inklings, yearnings, growlings, buzzings, something.”
HEARTBREAK
Back in May 2020, Whitney revealed she broke up with Chase after she claimed he cheated on her.
She told her fans at the time: "After experiencing a lot of ups and downs and still living apart, Chase reconnected with a woman with whom he has had a long history.
"Chase recently told me this information and the fact that it had resulted in a pregnancy. Chase will be a father in October.”
Whitney concluded: “I’m not interested in anything hateful being directed toward anyone. I would ask for privacy for all involved as we move on and focus on the future.”
Chase also confirmed the news, stating: "I have nothing but love and respect for Whitney and our time together. Thank you for always supporting us.
"As we now go our separate ways, I ask for privacy for Whitney, myself, and the mother of my child who wishes to remain anonymous.”
Chase later welcomed his daughter Aurora in September 2020 with Sara Jackson.
