Philip Schofield emotional as Holly Willougby misses Dancing On Ice semi-final
Phillip Schofield passed on his well wishes to his absent co-star Holly Willoughby after she tested positive for Covid-19 hours before the semi-finals of Dancing on Ice.
On Sunday (March 13), viewers were shocked to see the 59-year-old opening the popular ITV talent show on his own after the blonde bombshell was forced to pull out of the nail-biting episode.
The news was confirmed on the official ITV programme’s Twitter page which gave no mention of a replacement host for the series online.
And the silver fox couldn’t help but pass on his sympathies to the mum-of-three as he confessed how he found it “so weird” to be watching the show from the comfort of his own home when he contracted the virus last month.
When Phillip fell ill with the global virus, magician and comic Stephen Mulhern stepped in for the dad-of-two as he reunited with Holly for the first time in 18 years back when the pair first started their TV careers presenting children’s television.
