Real Housewife Dawn Ward opens up about secret lockdown health battle

Real Housewife of Cheshire star Dawn Ward has opened up about suffering a mystery illness in lockdown.

The blonde babe made the revelation during Monday's episode of Real Housewives of Cheshire on ITVBe.

Speaking frankly with pals Royston Blythe and Nick Malenko, Dawn, 47, said: "I wasn't feeling myself at all.

"I have had all these tests and apparently my oestrogen was at zero.

"I found out I had very little oestrogen which was why I was having hot sweats and mood swings."

Explaining she now is back to her former self, Dawn continued: "Now I am on the right medication I am a lot calmer.

"I am not going to fall out with anybody anymore.

"Life is too short being in lockdown has taught me that."

However, despite Dawn's explanation, some viewers think that Dawn is simply going through the menopause.

One fan tweeted: "Love how Dawn can't admit she's is menopausal #RHOCheshire."

Another added: "#RHOCheshire Oh dear Dawn, didn't expect that."

A third continued: "So basically Dawn has entered the menopause!

"Why doesn’t she just say that? #RHOCheshire."

The menopause is when a woman stops having periods and is no longer able to naturally conceive a child.

Typically, this occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55.

Monday night's show was the first episode of series 12 of the British reality TV series.

This time around, Dawn is joined by Ester Dohnalová, Hanna Kinsella, Lauren Simon, Nicole Sealey, Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra and Tanya Bardsley for the ITVBe run.

Meanwhile, new addition Lystra Adams will also join the show.
