Spoilers: Meena drugs hostage Manpreet through syringe in Emmerdale

Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) is currently holding sister Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) hostage in Emmerdale and is planning on torturing her.

As Manpreet awakes from her drug-fuelled slumber, she desperately tries to apologise for trying to escape, but Meena just laughs in her face.

Later, in the Doctor’s Surgery, Meena is rattled when Liam (Jonny McPherson) catches her forging a prescription for sleeping pills.

Meena manages to convince Liam to write her a new prescription, telling him she needs to recover from the ‘loss’ of her baby.

In the lair, Meena drugs Manpreet with the medication that Liam prescribed.

The next day, continuing to ignore calls from Rishi (Bhasker Patel) and Aiesha, Meena tells Manpreet to write a suicide note.

Later on, refusing to drink the pill-laced water, she is forced to take the medication through a plastic syringe instead.

Unbeknownst to Meena, PC Swirling and Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) start an investigation for a missing Manpreet.

But can they find her in time?
