Stephen Bear must wait another month to learn fate as sentencing for sharing secret Georgia Harrison sex tape is delayed | The Sun
STEPHEN Bear will have to wait another month to learn his fate after his revenge porn sentencing was delayed.
The reality star, 32, was convicted last month of sharing a secret sex tape with his Towie star ex Georgia Harrison.
He was due to be sentenced tomorrow at Chelmsford Crown Court tomorrow but this has been delayed for psychiatric reports.
Bear will now have to wait until March 3 to discover whether he will be jailed, Essex Live reports.
A hearing was told he needs to undergo a psychiatric assessment as those who have assessed him so far were "unable to formally diagnose".
His lawyer Gemma Rose said: "The sentence should be adjourned for the wait to prepare this report. I realise the delay will cause stress and anxiety to all those involved in the proceedings, but it's in my submission the court have all the evidence available before it.

"The crown have cited Mr Bear's behaviour at trial and I believe a psychiatric report will provide some context."
The disgraced Ex on the Beach star was found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films.
Each offence, which took place between August and November 2020, carry a maximum two year sentence.
As he was released on bail, Bear claimed he was "always fighting a losing battle".

The star had filmed the consensual sex on CCTV then made at least £40,000 on OnlyFans from uploading the clip.
Georgia had begged him not to share the footage after he showed it to her as it would "upset her greatly".
She was later airdropped the 20 minute clip and discovered it was being offered for pay-per-view on OnlyFans.
Bear, who showed up to court each day in a Rolls Royce limousine, was accused of "revenge porn" by Georgia.
The Towie star, who bravely waived her anonymity, later said she was "relieved" by the verdict.
She said in a statement: "The last two years have been absolute hell and this verdict will allow me to start to put the pain I have suffered in the past and start embracing the future.
"Bear’s behaviour was completely unacceptable and those who choose to commit such crimes should and will be prosecuted.
"I have felt ashamed, hurt, violated, even broken at times but today I stand here feeling empowered, grateful and a huge sense of unity with all of those who have reached out to support me throughout this ordeal."
Georgia also said with more people's lives spent online, it is "important" they are protected "in the virtual world just as they are in reality".
She told how she hopes by taking a stand, other victims of revenge porn will come forward to "seek justice and most importantly show them that they have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of".
Bear, from Walthamstow, East London, worked as a roofer before making it as a reality TV star.
He first appeared on Shipwrecked: The Island back in 2011 before fading away for a few years.
Bear, who previously dated Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, then re-emerged on Ex on the Beach in 2015.
Since then, he's been on Celebrity Big Brother, Just Tattoo of Us and Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live.
Georgia has previously appeared on reality shows including Towie, Love Island and Olivia Meets her Match.
