Strictly Come Dancing: Will Jacqueline Jossa join Strictly 2020 line-up?
Former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa won the hearts of the nation this year to be crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!. Since returning home from Australia, she’s taken to Instagram to admit she’s “laying low” in order to “enjoy time with her family,” but she could make a dramatic return to the spotlight in 2020 on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing? Here’s what we know so far.
Will Jacqueline Jossa join Strictly Come Dancing 2020?
This isn’t the first time rumours of Jossa heading to the Strictly dance floor have emerged before.
The 27-year-old revealed in earlier 2018 she had rejected the opportunity to join the BBC dance contest.
She said to OK! Magazine: “I’ve been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing but I can’t dance so there’s no way I would embarrass myself by going on that.”
However, could her victory Down Under have changed her mind? The bookmakers certainly think so.

Jossa is currently a mere 2/1 to take to the dancefloor, according to Coral.*
She joins a long list of potential contestants tipped to take part including Cheryl at 3/1 and John Bercow at 6/4.
Coral’s John Hill told Express.co.uk: “Jacqueline was the Queen of the Jungle and our betting suggests her next challenge could be the ballroom dancefloor as she is prominent in the betting to be a contestant on Strictly in 2020,”
Harry Aitkenhead, also from Coral, added: “Jacqueline isn’t going to be short of offers now after her hugely popular, and triumphant, appearance on I’m a Celeb.”
Aitkenhead said: “We make her a 2/1 chance to appear on the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing and certainly could be getting used to seeing her on our screens.”
Jossa is also high on the list of possible future Strictly stars with Ladbrokes.
The bookmakers currently have the Queen of the Jungle down as 8/1 to join next year’s line-up.**
The likes of Peter Crouch, Lucy Fallon and Chris Evans top the list of potential Strictly stars with Ladbrokes at the shortest odds of 2/1.
If Jossa were to join the line-up for Strictly Come Dancing 2020, it would certainly come as a surprise following her previous rejection of the series.
However, she isn’t the only surprising name to emerge in the running.
Besides frontrunners Cheryl, Jossa and Bercow, Coral is also tipping some other big names to appear.
Aitkenhead told Express.co.uk: “The usual names are always linked to the show and the class of 2020 will surely contain the similar eclectic mix that we are used to on Strictly now.
“Those with short odds and potentially likely to be dancing next year include Natasha Hamilton (2/1), Leigh-Anne Pinnock (4/1) and Jermaine Jenas (5/1).”

Among the outsider in Coral’s odds include Theresa May at 100/1 and former England manager Sam Allardyce at 100/1.
Allardyce was actually tipped to join the 2019 but rubbished the rumours during an appearance on TalkSport.
There may also be a return to the fray for Will Bayley who had to pull out of this year’s competition because of injury.
The Paralympian is currently 11/8 to return to Strictly in 2020.
Strictly Come Dancing 2019 concludes tonight at 7:05pm.
* All Coral odds accurate up to 12:30pm on Thursday, December 12.
