Strictly Come Dancing’s Jamie Laing says ‘Giovanni Pernice fancies Ranvir Singh’
Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice have been subject to romance rumours over the past few weeks.
Ranvir, 43, and Giovanni, 30, have soared up the leader board recently and many viewers claim the strong chemistry between them could mean they're an item.
Now Strictly contestant Jamie Laing has said how he reckons "Giovanni fancies Ranvir" – despite the pair claiming they're just good friends.
Jamie, 32, told Metro.co.uk: "I am in love with Giovanni and I’m in love with Ranvir, so I’d be jealous of either of them if they started hooking up with each other.
"I just think they’re incredible friends, they’re amazing partners. You have to remember that they’re putting on a performance. When you’re putting on a performance, it’s about making people believe it.
"If people at home are believing they’re in a relationship, then they’re doing their amazing job together, that’s incredible."
Jamie, who is the first Strictly contestant to star in two separate series, added: "They’re such a beautiful partnership," calling it "amazing".
Speculation that the pair are an item was heightened after the dancer told the ITV star that he "loved" her as "their song" played out on a Strictly episode.
It has also also been revealed Giovanni called his partner "baby" during the show on Saturday, November 5.

Strictly’s Twitter account shared a clip this week of Giovanni whispering “come on baby” into Ranvir's ear as they twirled during the Viennese Waltz.
And earlier this week Giovanni declared Ranvir a "beautiful princess" after fans claimed they kissed on the show.
Giovanni shared a snap of him and Ranvir sharing a tight and intimate hug after wrapping their performance on the ITV show.

He wrote alongside a strength emoji: "Thank you to all of you for keeping our dream still alive, your messages and votes mean everything!"
Giovanni wrote in the comment section: "And to you Ranvir, what can I say? A beautiful princess who deserves every single moment of this success! Semi-finals here we come."
Hundreds of fans also rushed to the comments to praise the pair.
One wrote: "Congratulations to you both. Giovanni, you are in the semi-final again. As good an achievement as actually winning."
