Strictly Jamie Laing’s sister floors Giovanni as she asks for his number on air
Strictly Come, Dancing finalist, Jamie Laing's sister asked him to give Giovanni Pernice her number.
The Made In Chelsea star was speaking to Claudia Winkleman about his second dancing of the night alongside Karen Hauer when his sister made the flirty remark.
She was giving her brother a good love message when she cheekily said: "Give Giovanni my number."
The professional dancer Giovanni was then shown on camera with a smile on his face while a shocked Jamie went into hysterics.
Emily also said in her message for Jamie: "Just a message to say that I love you so much. You've got this. You're in the final, this is amazing. You've come so far since week one and that Cha Cha with those trousers.
"We're all behind you all the way. We love both of you so much.
"Go do your thing."
She then quickly added: "And erm give Giovanni my number."
As the Strictly studio erupted into fits of giggles, host Claudia Winkleman said: "Strictly Come Dancing also becomes about dating."
Viewers went into meltdown on Twitter, as one wrote: "Yesss Jamie's sister. Taking the opportunity to shoot her shot with Giovanni. I admire that, she gets my vote."
While another wrote: "YES Jamie's sister!! Yes!!
"What we ALL want to say to Giovanni".
A third added: "Jamie’s sister saying what everyone’s thinking."
"You've got to admire Jamie's sister's confidence", penned a fourth.
Emily Laing's request comes amid a rumoured 'romance' between Giovanni and his Strictly partner Ranvir Singh.
Fans have been wondering about the pair since he was spotted kissing her on the cheek after a dance, and telling her that "he loved her" during a live show.
Ranvir opened up about not making it to the final in an interview on Lorraine.
She said: "I couldn't believe how far I had got, to be honest. To get so close and to not make the final, it does hurt a little bit.
"But in the end really, I am glad that we left on a beautiful dance – and I don't mean the jive obviously!"
Ranvir added: "Giovanni, if he was here, would say that in the sense that my energy levels definitely started to reduce a little bit towards the end
"I think it's just a build-up of a lack of sleep and working, and then obviously I have got a son to go home to so I couldn't really train until 10pm.
"I needed to go home, that's my job, my main job is being a mum so it's a lot of juggling but it was amazing to do."
