Terrified Katie Price increases security over fears she’ll be kidnapped – The Sun

TERRIFIED Katie Price has boosted security around her and her family following a recent kidnap threat ordeal.

The 41-year-old has told friends she is worried about her safety and has been taking advice from experts on how to keep secure.

Just days ago the bankrupt model begged a judge to lift a driving ban and said she needs a motor so she can flee from kidnappers.

The mum-of-five told an appeal hearing at Woolwich crown court: "I'm on my fourth kidnap threat. I need to have a car so I can get out and get away."

Katie also said disabled son Harvey, 17, could only cope with her driving. A judge cut her two-year ban to 18 months "because of him, rather than you"

But friends say Katie remains petrified of the threat she is still facing.

A pal said: “Katie was really shaken up the recent kidnap threat against her and the kids. Since then she has asked her team to get extra advice and support about how they can stay safer.

“They have spoken to experts in this sort of thing who offer protection to celebrities and VIPs and given them some basic advice. Katie also has a number she can ring if she needs more help.

“Katie has also been warned to be careful about how much she posts on social media about where she is and what she is doing."

Katie is currently living at various places after being told she faces loses her home and feels that makes her an easier target for criminals.

"Not having a permanent home makes things harder," our source added. "She is on the move all the time and basically living out of a suitcase.”

Katie has also increased the level of security around her Mucky Mansion home, which she faces losing as part of a bankruptcy order.

“Katie said she wanted to be like Fort Knox,” a friend said. “Now, the sad thing is, she may never get to live it in again.”

Meanwhile Sun Online can reveal that Katie’s family and friends have urged her to forget about ever moving back in to the Mucky Mansion.

“They think she should just fresh-start it in the New Year,” our source said. “The Mansion has brought her nothing but bad luck in the past year. Everyone thinks Katie would benefit from a change of home and a new start so she can make 2020 a better year.”

The Sun Online has contacted a representative of Katie for comment.
