The Apprentice's Amy Anzel slams Lord Sugar in furious rant – calling show is 'ageist' after she was banned from final
SHE was banned from appearing on The Apprentice spin-off show You're Hired after complaining about Lord Sugar.
Now fired candidate Amy Anzel, 48, has slammed him AGAIN for being "ageist" and "anti-American".
The US cosmetics entrepreneur has spoken exclusively to The Sun for the first time about her run-in with BBC bosses over the snub.
And she's lifted the lid on accusing Lord Sugar of being bias against her.
"There was ageism and also anti-Americanism," insists Amy.
"Lord Sugar would often bring up Donald Trump to me and I'd say I'm nothing like Trump and we all know he and Trump hate each other.

"I do think that has a lot to do with it. We've heard him say before 'I love acorns not oak trees and I think he sees me as more of an oak tree because my business is four years old or whether it comes down to me being 48.
"He just has no interest in working with someone that is 'that old'. I couldn't think of any other reason why. Honestly, it was so insulting.
"I had so much to show him. It was so unfair. I was a stand out character for six weeks, people knew who I was.
"I think the show is reverse-engineered. There is manipulation. There was a narrative written for me that felt very unfair.

Amy – who was the oldest ever candidate to take part in the show – was fired in week six.
Lord Sugar, 74, accused Amy of dodging the role of Project Manager, despite her putting herself forward for the role in week two and acting as sub team leader on four occasions.
She slammed the decision as "completely unfair and unjustified".
Amy was later left distraught after Lord Sugar posted a tweet saying: “Amy didn’t sell she was so slow. Slower than broadband Wi-Fi in Cornwall.”
After going to production about the jibe, Amy was banned from appearing on You're Fired for "breaching the show's contract" – something she denies.
An Apprentice source said at the time: “Invitations to You’re Hired are always discretionary and never guaranteed.”
However, she does return tonight for the final episode – when entrepreneurs Harpreet Kaur and Kathryn Burn go head to head.
Amy comes back to direct an advert for Kathryn, saying it brought the experience "full circle".
But she's still furious about how her experience on The Apprentice turned out – and complained to a BBC executive producer. The complaint has never been formalised.
"This isn't me speaking as a sore loser", Amy insists.
"I'm assured enough to accept the firing, but the firing didn't seem justified.
"But the fact that Lord Sugar tweeted those nasty and insulting tweets and wound up his five million people to come after me..
"He just made up a reason to get me out. At least be honest and not give me such a bull**** reason.

"It's fine, I'll be fine without him. I just never thought this would be my narrative and journey on The Apprentice , something I've put up on a pedestal for so many years.
"I went to the executive producer afterwards and I said 'I've been auditioning for this show for four years, you know me, where did I go wrong? This is crazy.'
"I was going out of my mind about it. I asked how I came across and he said 'you didn't mince your words that's for sure'.
"The fact he couldn't tell me what I did wrong proved a lot. Maybe it does come from Lord Sugar and he simply didn't like me."
