The Masked Singer Viking and Blob finally exposed in brutal double elimination
The Masked Singer left fans shocked on Saturday night as the Viking was revealed to be a-ha's Morten Harket, and Blob was unmasked as Sir Lenny Henry.
The judging panel, which consists of Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, were equally as stunned.
Morten, 61, is best known as the lead singer of the synthpop/rock band a-ha, who have released 10 studio albums to date.
He revealed that he decided to do the show because he wanted to push himself out of his comfort zone.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Never would have guessed that after singing his own song! Beautiful voice of Morten Harket #themaskedsinger."
Another added: "Wasn't expecting that, Morten Harket being Viking #TheMaskedSinger."
And a third tweeted: "OMFG it's Morten Harket!!! My mum guessed him but then he sung his own song so we thought nahh can't be!! Omg!! #MaskedSingerUK #TheMaskedSinger #TheMaskedSingerUK."
Moments later, Blob was then exposed as stand-up comedian and actor Sir Lenny Henry, 62.
