What week is it on Bake Off tonight? Week nine theme revealed
THE Great British Bake Off 2020 is almost over.
We've seen cake week, biscuit week and the first ever Japanese week. But what are the final two themes for the 2020 series?
What is the theme this week?
- Week nine, November 17 – Patisserie Week
- Week eight, November 10 – Dessert Week
- Week seven, November 3 – Eighties Week
- Week six, October 27 – Japanese Week
- Week five, October 20 – Pastry Week
- Week four, October 13 – Chocolate Week
- Week three, October 6 – Bread Week
- Week two, September 29 – Biscuit Week
- Week one, September 22 – Cake Week
The remaining four bakers will face three patisserie challenges to decide who will be going through to next week’s grand final.
The signature round features lots of alcohol, while the technical challenge will see the bakers make pastry horns.
Finally, for the Showstopper they must construct a cake made entirely from smaller cakes.
What is the theme next week?
Week ten of The Great British Bake Off will be the grand final.
The last three bakers face three tests of a range of baking skills – a deceptively simple Signature round combining set custard and puff pastry, a Technical celebrating the classic combination of chocolate and nuts, and a magnificent dessert tower for their final Showstopper, before judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood select this year's winner.
