Who is Karen Blick who plays Lydia Hart in Emmerdale?

Emmerdale’s dealt us a shocker this week, as Lydia Hart (Karen Blick) has been revealed as the then-teenage mother of the newborn whose remains were found on the grounds of Jessie Dingle’s (Sandra Marvin) school.

After the police found a photo of one Jennifer Finn, whm DNA proves is the one who had the baby, it became clear to viewers that Jennifer was really Lydia.

Who is Karen Blick who plays Lydia Hart?

Karen was born on 25 October 1974, and her first TV appearance was in No Angels in 2006, in which she played Teacher and starred opposite EastEnders’ Jo Joyner and Black Mirror’s Francis Maggee.

She then appeared in another series, Nomads, almost ten years later in 2015.

Then in 2016, Karen, 44, began starring in Emmerdale as Lydia – the role for which she is best-known.

Since then, she’s appeared (as herself) on various talk shows like Good Evening Britain and Lorraine.

Outside of television, she’s acted in The Girlfriend Audition in 2015, and she played a nurse in Dark River in 2017.
