Boris Johnson's dog Dilyn goes walkies on campaign trail

Vote fur me! Boris Johnson’s dog Dilyn goes walkies on campaign trail… but can he count on your sup-paw-t?

More than two months have passed since Dilyn — the adorable Jack Russell cross rescue puppy — entered No10 Downing Street.

And he has joined his new parents, Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his partner, Carrie Symonds, on the campaign trail in the run up to the general election.

Mr Johnson has no doubt settled into a contented routine with Miss Symonds and Dilyn, whom he takes for contemplative walks in the Downing Street garden at 6am each day.

Dilyn has so far proved resistant to house-training, but the Prime Minister has insisted that he is ‘getting there’ and is in ‘great shape’.

He has so far been pictured wearing a Zac Goldsmith rosette in West London, tussling with another dog in County Durham and on the train to Stafford.
