Breakdancer strikes straphanger with speaker during subway fight: cops
A subway breakdancer knocked a straphanger out with a speaker during an argument on a Bronx train, cops said.
The victim, a 55-year-old man, was arguing with the dancer on a northbound 4 train at the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station around 3 p.m. Sept. 29 when things turned physical, police said.
The performer struck the man in the head with the speaker, causing him to lose consciousness, authorities said.
The dancer took off when the train doors opened, and remains at large, authorities said.
Cops released a surveillance image of the suspect Thursday night.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he has since been treated and released, police said Friday morning.
