Cop who worked as Katie Price’s bodyguard ‘held racist messages above the heads of sleeping train passengers’ – The Sun

A POLICE officer who moonlighted as Katie Price’s bodyguard held racist messages above the heads of sleeping train passengers, a disciplinary hearing was told.

PC Ian Wells, 44, is also accused of sending racist and sexist texts.

His brother-in-law Daniel O’Leary told the West London hearing: “He was on the train and he’d have a little notepad.

“He’d write a racist comment and hold it above the person’s head.

“There was a black man sleeping and Wells wrote ‘I’m a prince in my country’ and held it above his head.”

Mr O’Leary, who fell out with Wells over money, said the Met officer once targeted a sleeping Asian man — holding up a message that read: “I forgot deodorant today.”

He added: “Invariably Wells would always target ethnic minorities.”

Wells, of Hornchurch, East London, denies racism and sexism.

Hearing into gross misconduct allegations continues.
