Court rules measles vaccine is still mandatory in NYC
New York City can continue to enforce its measles vaccination mandate, a court has ruled.
The decision came just a day after city health officials ordered the closure of a Queens Yeshiva in continued attempts to combat the measles outbreak.
A group of parents sued the city earlier this year, protesting the order from the Health Department requiring that people who live in certain Brooklyn zip codes receive the vaccine.
