He will also update the country on the latest coronavirus cases and deaths.
The press conference comes as GP surgeries are preparing to start booking Covid-19 vaccines, with appointments expected to begin next week.
On December 16 the first review since the new tiers system came into place is also set to take place – meaning Mr Hancock could give an update on that too.
