Doorbell camera captures woman’s chilling screams for help

Police are investigating a possible kidnapping in Los Angeles after a doorbell camera captured a woman’s chilling screams for help, according to a report.

The Ring device installed at a Leimert Park home recorded a sobbing woman Tuesday night repeatedly saying, “Somebody help me!,” news station KTLA reported.

In the video, the woman’s pleas come as a car passes outside the home.

Authorities received a 911 call about a possible kidnapping around 11 p.m. but didn’t find any evidence of the crime. They relaunched their efforts after they became aware of the doorbell video, KTLA reported.
