Greta Thunberg has taken another swipe at ‘toxic’ influencer Andrew Tate over his arrest in Romania for rape.
The Swedish eco-activist tweeted this morning: ‘This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes’ – in reference to reports that police were tipped to Tate’s location in Bucharest after he released a video of himself sitting beside a Romanian pizza box.
Earlier in the week, Tate sparked a war of words with 19-year-old climate activist Thunberg when he shared a picture of himself standing next to a Bugatti and claimed he owned 33 cars.

‘Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,’ he tweeted, tagging Thunberg.
She replied: ‘Yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld***[email protected].’
It comes as the former kickboxer was held alongside his brother, Tristan, and two other suspects while his house was raided in the capital, Bucharest.
‘The four suspects … appear to have created an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialised websites for a cost,’ prosecutors said, according to the Reuters news agency.
A spokesperson for Tate told DailyMail.com: ‘We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.’

Since retiring from combat sports, Tate has received attention for his misogynistic online commentary.
He gained notoriety in 2016 when he was removed from British TV show Big Brother over a video that appeared to show him hitting a woman with a belt.
In 2017, he was banned on Twitter for saying that women should ‘bear responsibility’ for being sexually assaulted, but was reinstated last month.
Tate and his brother have been under investigation since April alongside two Romanian nationals.
Footage circulated widely on social media appears to show Tate and his sibling being led away from a luxury villa. He moved to Romania five years ago.
Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) earlier issued a statement, but did not name the Tate brothers, stating that two British citizens and two Romanian citizens were suspected of being part of a criminal group focused on human trafficking.
It also released a video of the raid, showing guns, knives, and money on display in one room.
Andrew and Tristan Tate are both dual-citizens of the US and UK. The brothers were born to an American father and British mother, and grew up partially in both countries.
Police said the two British suspects lured female victims using the ‘loverboy method,’ falsely professing their love and intention to marry them.
The victims were then transported to buildings in Ilfov county on the outskirts of Bucharest, where they were ‘sexually exploited’ and forced to perform in pornographic videos for dissemination on social media, the police statement said.
Police say the suspects used ‘physical violence and mental coercion’ to force the women to comply with their demands, including ‘intimidation, constant surveillance, control and invoking alleged debts.’
Police say a total of six victims have so far come forward claiming they were sexually exploited by the organized criminal group.
Cops did not name the men whose homes were raided in Romania, but images from the raids appeared to clearly match scenes from Tate’s home previously posted on social media.
Police said the four suspects were taken for questioning on Thursday, and police ordered the suspects to be detained for a period of 24 hours.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, but brought up in Luton, England, Tate has garnered a dubious reputation over his various business activities.
Together with his brother Tristan, he allegedly set up a webcam business in Romania in which young models told sob stories to unsuspecting male viewers.
Despite previously saying that the site was ‘a total scam’, Tate claims to have made millions from it.
Tate found himself in hot water after getting into a Twitter spat with eco-activist Thunberg.
He called her out – and shared a photo of himself filling up his Bugatti supercar, asking her to send him her email address so he could detail the ‘enormous emissions’ his gas-guzzling performance cars spewed out.
Tate tweeted on Tuesday: ‘Hello Greta Thunberg. I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad-turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and its enormous emissions.’
