The Met Gala is set to kick off this evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Branded by some as the biggest night in fashion, the high-profile fundraising event has been hosted by Anna for nearly 30 years now.
Each year, on the first Monday of May, Hollywood’s biggest celebrities stomp the red carpet in their most extravagant and lavish outfits, many of which are compulsively talked about by the public.
People from all around the world excitedly wait for the red carpet photos to hit the web, while the stars all try to outdo each other with their looks.
It’s no secret that Anna Wintour is very particular when it comes to planning the event, and some even described her as ‘militant’ during the weeks leading up the gala while chatting to author Amy Odell in the book Anna: The Biography.

Anna’s daughter Bee Carrozzini shared the touching snap to her Instagram Stories on Monday morning – just hours before the editor is set to host the highly coveted gala.
The fashion queen, 73, who is well known for having a very icy demeanor, gave a rare glimpse of her vulnerable side as she cuddled up to the toddler in the sweet shot.
In the photo, Anna could be seen sitting in a gold chair at a long table with her grandson, named Oliver Sozzani Carrozzini, on her lap.
Another famous pair – this time, mother and daughter – expected to walk the carpet tonight is Kate Moss and her daughter, Lila.
Kate, the infamous supermodel whose look has captivated the fashion world for decades, walked the Met Gala carpet with her teen daughter last year. It was Lila’s first Met.
But the two are expected to grace the Met with their presence for a second time tonight.
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham will be at the Met Gala 2023, the guest list confirms.
The pair wed at Nicola’s family mansion in Florida last April.

The reality TV star, 42, put her toned midriff on display in a tight grey Chanel crop top and black leather pants.
Kanye West‘s ex-wife – who recently officiated her hair stylist Chris Appleton’s wedding to Lukas Gage in Las Vegas – accessorized with oversized black Chanel sunglasses with a gold chain, and a black Chanel trunk.
She was joined by her eldest daughter North West, nine, as well as niece Penelope Disick, 10, and her father Scott Disick, 39.
Kendall Jenner was seen walking in New York City on Monday afternoon, ahead of fashion’s big night at the Met Gala.

The theme of the 2023 Met Gala is ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.’
It is inspired by the Costume’s Institute’s major exhibition for the year, to be unveiled at the party.
‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,’ will be on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 5 to July 16.
