A New Jersey woman is suing McDonald’s, accusing her local chain of selling her a burger wrapper smeared with excrement, according to The Vineland Daily Journal.

McDonald’s denies the claim, and said an internal investigation does not support Amanda Bordois’ allegation, the paper said.

The Millville woman said she brought home takeout from the North High Street drive-thru on Jan. 13, according to the article.

She claimed that her daughter reached into the bag to pull out a burger and “noticed a brown substance all over the wrapper of the burger and on (her) right hand,” the lawsuit reportedly said.

Citing a “horrible stench,” Bordois was “nauseous, disgusted and sick that she and her child just consumed french fries touching the burger wrapper covered in feces and in the same bag as the fries they had eaten,” the suit stated, according to the report.

The plaintiff then reportedly called police, who filed a report.

“I looked into the bag and observed what appeared to be feces on the wrapper of a burger in the bag,” Officer Kevin Gandy reportedly wrote.

The manager at the restaurant said the allegations were not possible, and the chain pushed back, according to the local paper.

“Serving safe, high quality food is always our top priority and we take this claim seriously,” John Durante of JDKD Enterprises of Sewell, the owner and operator of the McDonald’s reportedly said.

“We have taken the appropriate steps to investigate this matter and have been unable to substantiate the claim.”

Bordois told the paper that no health officials ever collected the alleged evidence.

“We actually did save it,” she said.
