Tributes to 'funny' dad, 51, after he was found dead at Walsall home as cops arrest his son, 24, on suspicion of murder

A DEVASTATED family have paid an emotional tribute to a “funny, caring” dad who was found dead in his home as his son was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Lee Gadd, 51, was found dead at his home in Walsall, Bloxwich, West Midlands on Monday.


Police forced their way inside the property after receiving a call concerned for Mr Gadd's safety.

In a statement, Mr Gadd's devastated family said: "No words can describe the pain we are suffering.

"We are a devastated family with the loss of our Lee, he was a dedicated father and family man.

"He was a funny, caring and loyal person, and a huge hole has been left in our family and our hearts.

"Our lives will never be the same again."

A post mortem has yet to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Pye will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court today.
