You've been applying concealer all wrong – this game-changing TikTok trick promises an instant facelift

CONCEALER is a staple in our make-up bags, but it turns out we may have been using it in the wrong way all this time.

The internet is forever schooling us in beauty techniques and a new contouring trend on social media has revealed the correct way to use your concealer and immediately give yourself a fuss-free facelift.

Ahead of Fabulous' Beauty Awards for 2021, we've learned that concealer isn't just for hiding the bags under your eyes or the odd blemish, as concealer, if used properly, can actually alter the shape of your face.

Self-confessed "CEO of contouring" Megha Singh has gone viral on TikTok after sharing her concealer how-to video online, that has since been liked by thousands.

She reveals that by targeting certain areas with the concealer stick, you can instantly lift up your face – all you need to do is apply concealer to the both the corner and edge of your eye.

Run a line down along your nose, another in a diagonal direction from the edge of your bottom lip and one more line along your cheekbone.

With a beauty blender, blend the concealer into the skin and you'll notice that your face will instantly seem tauter.

Megha pointed out the difference by applying concealer to just one side of her face and her results were pretty incredible.

She had used the Fenty Beauty concealer and applied after already covering her face in foundation.
