Lewis’ disappearance was a big plot point of “Tiger King” Season 1, which delved into the conspiracy theory that Baskin murdered her husband. But in the new Season 2 clip, it’s suggested that Lewis may have gotten caught up with some shady characters who were out to get him.</p><p>“He told me he was in danger. He said it was over money. He had some problems with some people in the U.S. They were very bad men,” one interview subject says.</p><p><img decoding="async" width="150" height="150" src="data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=)
“Carole told me that he hung around with a lot of unscrupulous type of people. Maybe he stuck somebody for some money, and they caught up with him,” Alan Schreier, an ex-boyfriend of Baskin, says in the clip. He later adds of Lewis, “He did horrible stuff to Carole.”
