All the times Meghan Markle and Kate wore strikingly similar outfits
Ten times Meghan Markle and Kate, the Princess of Wales, chose a strikingly similar fashion look (even if they don’t always see eye to eye!)
- Kate opened Eurovision in a dazzling blue dress – similar to one worn by Meghan!
- But it’s not the only time they have shared passion for fashion…
The Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex might not always have seen eye to eye but they clearly share a similar sense of style, choosing number of matching outfits over the years.
And they struck again on Saturday, when Kate opened the Eurovision Song Contest in a one-shoulder gown in shades of blue strikingly reminiscent of a one worn by Meghan last year.
In January, two days after Harry’s book, Spare, was released, Kate was spotted wearing a Holland Cooper forest green and navy tartan coat that was almost identical to the Burberry one Meghan Markle wore on her trip to Scotland with Harry in 2018.
The pair even sported similar handbags in the same pine green colour – Meghan’s Strathberry bag with silver detailing and Kate’s Mulberry bag with gold detailing.
Here, MailOnline looks at the times it’s as Meghan and Kate had looked to each other for inspiration…

However, Meghan might have been taking inspiration from Kate, who first wore her white £1,945 Alexander McQueen suit during her royal Caribbean tour, which she also paired with white stilettos.
She also re-wore the suit during the Commonwealth Games in August last year, pairing it with a white top and belt.
The jewellery is also strikingly similar, with the Duchess of Sussex wearing a necklace made by designer Sophie Lis, which carries the engraving ‘Qu’hier’ after a diamond encrusted plus sign, and ‘Que Demain’ followed by a ruby minus sign.
(Translated, it refers to a French soubriquet saying ‘I love you more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow.)
