Bradley Walsh, 61, spoke up about his relationship with his son, Barney Walsh. The Chase presenter had a lot of praise to give him following the two working together on ITV’s The Larkins.

The TV host said that his son was “great” and expressed excitement to be working with him again.

Bradley spoke on The Jonathan Ross Show about his son and other projects.

He also spoke more about The Larkins.

Of Barney he said: “We do [get on well].

“He’s a great lad Barney.

“I’ve said it on many occasions – he’s the person I always wanted to be.

“He’s got wonderful humility, he’s very sensitive. He takes after his mum, thankfully.

“He’s much more gentle than I am.”

He explained that Barney is playing PC Harness on the show.

“It’s nice working with him again,” he said.

Bradley continued, explaining the premise of the latest episode of the ITV show.

The celebrity host and actor said: “Someone in the village becomes a burglar.

“Everyone loses their presents and their things they love dearly. It’s Pop’s job to go and get it all back.”

He explained that the father character is very “lovable” and that it’s his job to get the village back for Christmas.

Bradley’s co-star on The Larkins, Sabrina Bartlett, had a lot of praise to sing about him.

“He’s so funny,” Sabrina said, replying to a question posed by Vernon Kay on This Morning on Monday.

“And he is another person on set who is so much fun, but you just can’t look at him in a scene.

“He’ll just pull a face while you’re acting or you’re having your dinner or something.

“And you can just hear what he is doing but he is lovely to work with.

“He is the heart of the show.”

The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday at 10.35pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
