Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher looks totally different on night out with co-stars

Coronation Street actress Mollie Gallagher enjoyed a night out with her soap co-stars as she sported a different look to her character.

The 24 year old is best known for playing Nina on Corrie, who’s usually seen wearing all-black clothing and gothic accessories.

However, Mollie opted for a brighter look as she attended the Royal Television Society Programme Awards in London on Tuesday evening, alongside co-stars Julia Goulding, Dolly-Rose Campbell, Tanisha Gorey and Sally Ann Matthews.

The actress wore a bright, shimmering fuschia dress with diamante straps, which she paired with a chunky statement belt. For accessories, the star opted for a gold choker and gold hoop earrings which she wore alongside monochrome nail art.

Mollie wore her two-toned blonde and black hair in a half up-do style with a scrunchie and completed her look with dark purple lipstick and heavy eyeliner.

Although the actress is best known for playing quirky goth Nina on the soap, she often shares snaps to Instagram where she looks worlds away from her teenage character.

The star lives in Manchester with her boyfriend Dan Myers, and the pair looked utterly loved-up in a recent selfie she posted to her Instagram page.

The length of the star's tresses were jet black rather than her deep redhead look on the soap, and she showed off her radical new 'do with a platinum blonde blunt fringe.

Mollie debuted her new hairstyle on Instagram a few months ago, swapping her long dark hair for a choppy two-toned look with a fringe.

Naturally, several of Mollie’s thousands of Instagram followers took to the comments section to praise the actress on her new look.

"OMG THE HAIR IM SHOOK," one fan excitedly wrote, as another added, "Love the hair! Looks amazing".

Meanwhile a third fan added, "Stunning as always your hair looks amazing" as a fourth said, "Looking beautiful love the hair".

One fan even went as far as to compare Mollie to singer Billie Eilish, who previously sported a green and black two-toned hair look.

Last year, the star stepped out on the red carpet of the OK!-sponsored NTAs with her former hair colour, where she won the award Best Serial Performance for her work on Coronation Street.

Mollie was visibly emotional when she collected her award, describing her Corrie role as a “dream come true”.
