Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice took to Instagram last night to share a short video with his partner Rose Ayling-Ellis. He could be seen serenading the EastEnders star on a glamorous night out.

The 31-year-old professional dancer, who was dressed in a smart pink jacket over a white shirt and trousers, was filmed playing the piano in front of a floor to ceiling window, which looked out over a cityscape at night.

The camera then spun around to show the 26-year-old actress.

Rose looked beautiful in a black top with sheer polka dot sleeves and green trousers.

“Serenade night,” Giovanni captioned the footage, which he shared on the picture-sharing site.

He also tagged his partner into the post.

The camera then panned around the room to show Rose, who looked unimpressed.

“I’m deaf,” she said with an amusing deadpan expression.

Rose, who is best known for playing Frankie Lewis in the long-running BBC soap opera, is the first deaf contestant to compete in the ballroom and Latin dancing show.

Viewers have been very impressed with the couple’s routines so far.

Last week, they were eighth on the leaderboard following their cheeky Cha Cha Cha, however the week before they were in third position.

The couple were awarded a total of 36 points after receiving near-perfect nines from all four judges.

This Saturday, they will perform a graceful Viennese Waltz to Fallin’ by Alicia Keys.

Giovanni gave fans a glimpse at their training on the picture sharing site earlier today, in view of his 539,000 followers.

It comes after rumours began to surface that Giovanni has split from his girlfriend Maura Higgins, 30.

The pair, who made their romance official earlier this year, both deleted traces of each other from their social media accounts.

The erased pictures sparked rumours that their relationship had come to an end.

Giovanni and Maura, who found fame on reality show Love Island, have been dating since June.

Earlier this month, friends of the Strictly star told The Sun that marriage could be on the cards.

Meanwhile, fans thought they could be moving in together.

Last week, the Irish beauty hinted that she was moving in with the Strictly pro when she posted a picture showing an array of moving boxes in her London abode.

“Finally moving week!” she told her 3.3 million followers.
