Hilaria Baldwin supports husband Alec after tragic Rust movie shooting: I’m here
Hilaria Baldwin has said she’s “here” for her husbandAlec Baldwinafter he was involved in a devastating accidental shooting on the set of his upcoming movie, Rust, that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Alec described himself as being heartbroken after the ordeal, and now his wife has voiced her support for him.
Sharing a picture of them both holding hands, Hilaria wrote on Instagram: “I love you and I’m here”.
Many of Hilaria’s 927,000 followers have also voiced their support for the couple. Will & Grace actor Leslie Jordan wrote: “Two is stronger than one…. and so on down the line. I am here for you all as well.”
Another person penned: “Love and strength keeps coming your way Take care of you too friend!,” a third commented: “Sending love your way!”
Dozens of others shared their support for the couple while expressing their love and condolences.
Hilaria firstaddressed the tragic Rust shootingon Monday 25 October.
In the statement Hilaria said: "My heart is with Halyna. Her husband. Her son.
"Their family and loved ones. And my Alec."

She continued: "It's said, "There are no words" because it's impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic incident. Heartbreak. Loss. Support."
Addressing the incident himself,Alec wrote in a thread of tweets on Friday 22 October: “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours.
"I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna."
The actor has since cancelled all his upcoming projectsand is taking time away from the public eye.
"This was pretty devastating," a source toldPeople. "This is how he handles difficult times. Whenever something bad happens, in the short term, he removes himself from [the] public eye."
The publication added that Alec was "hysterical and absolutely inconsolable for hours" following the shooting.
"Everyone knows this was an accident, but he's absolutely devastated," the source said.
