MTV promises some content will be available on its YouTube channel, and viewers can also watch the show via the MTV app on:

Via an online-only streaming package

If you’re not a cable subscriber, then you can still access MTV via one of the following streaming services. You’ll need a stellar Internet connection, but each provider offers competitive deals, free trials, and a selection of channels.

Via the MTV VMA Stan Cam

For the first time, MTV is putting viewers in control of how they watch the VMAs. According to Variety, “The MTV VMA Stan Cam, a live, interactive viewing experience that will let viewers vote on which camera feeds they want to see. It’s a Twitter first for a live awards show.” If you like awards shows to be as interactive as possible, you’ll probably want to lurk on Twitter for the night.
